New Street Dental wants every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and get the information they need about our care.
Our goal
We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We build and test the site with that standard in mind, including:
- Text and buttons with strong color contrast
- Pages that work with a keyboard and with screen readers
- Text descriptions for meaningful images
- Layouts that adjust to phones, tablets and zoomed text
- Animations that switch off when your device asks for reduced motion
Ongoing work
We check new pages before they go live and review the site over time. Some content from other services, such as our online scheduling site, our patient forms, our payment processor and Google Maps, is provided by those companies and may not meet every guideline.
